Location – Redmond, WA

 

Duration – 6 Months+

Job Description

 

Role & Responsibilities:

 

Ø  Should monitor and manage SLA's and service quality of team.

Ø  Planning and execution of project management activities

Ø  Driving team to fulfill customer needs that are committed in SOW.

Ø  Identify the project level risks and mitigation plans

Ø  People management activities like appraisal, feedback and performance improvement measures etc.

Ø  Ensuring right reporting on right time.

Ø  Participate in consulting and design of large networks/projects in datacenter environments of MSN.

Ø  Perform problem analysis and provide recommendations for service enhancements

Ø  Extensive experience in Switching, Routing, Security, Load Balancers and solid troubleshooting skills.

Ø  Monitor and manage SLA's and service quality

Ø  Conduct internal audits to check the  network compliance

Ø  Excellent verbal and communication skills are essential.

Ø  Network audits and guide the team to 100% compliance.

Ø  Should know standard quality practices.

Ø  Contribute to internal knowledge management system

Ø  Experience with ITIL processes.

 

Apart from that technically able to handle following activities:

 

Ø  Routing protocols (RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP),

Ø  Very good experience with Cisco hardware including L2 and L3 switches and routers.

Ø  Switching technologies (Gig/TenGig Ethernet, Ether channel, MST/PVST/Spanning Tree, SVIs, Dot1Q VLAN deployments, Extended Access list, Summarization etc.)

Ø  Security :  IDP , VPN, FWSM, Cisco PIX/ASA, Cisco VPN Concentrators, TACACS/RADIUS and knowledge of authentication into an Active Directory Environment, Layer 2 & 3 MPLS

Ø  Experience in Juniper & Cisco Nexus devices

Ø  IPSEC/GRE tunneling, NAT/PAT, QOS, Spanning Tree, VLAN configuration, VRRP, HSRP with traditional ISDN, T1-DS3, Content Switching, Network Design, IP address Management, Performance Management, Optimization, Documentation, and Inventory Management.

Ø  Load Balancers like F5/CSM/Radware: Virtual Servers, Persistence, SSL, NAT, SNAT & IRULES. (Experience with F5 BIGIP LTM will be an added advantage)

Ø  Troubleshooting the problems reported on the network devices and providing Root cause analysis

Ø  Provide active involvement in Meetings related to network change and installations/projects. Configuration Management
