We have an urgent opening for Oracle Applications Performance Tuning developer

 

Location – Mountain View, CA

 

Duration – 6 Months

 

 

Job Description

 

Responsibilities:

Ø  Collaborate with DBA to identify bad-performing SQL, PL/SQL, or Java code

Ø  Collaborate with development teams in functional tracks to analyze and fix bad-performing code

Ø  Triage performance problems on production instances

 

Requirements:

Ø  BS/BA or equivalent experience required; Information Systems or Computer Science desired.

Ø  Experience on Oracle Applications modules like AP, AR, GL or Order Management, Inventory etc

Ø  Experience and interest in working with a variety of technologies to solve various types of problems.

Ø  Participation in full system implementation life-cycles (analyze, design, build, test, implement, support).

Ø  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; strong analytical skills and a demonstrable bias toward action.

Ø  Ability to deal with ambiguity and thrive in a rapidly changing business environment.

Ø  Strong programming skills in SQL, PL/SQL, relational database concepts, performance tuning, and knowledge of Unix/Linux and scripting skills.

Ø  Knowledge of Oracle's application technology stack and experience of implementing and working with Oracle Financials Applications and data model
