Job Title : Oracle DBA
Location : Phoenix AZ
Duration : 4+months

Senior Oracle Database Administrator to provide support and maintenance services
Experience with Oracle 10g Grid and RAC environments
Database installation, configuration, Critical Patch Updates, monitoring, maintenance and version upgrades
Work incident tickets including problem isolation, analysis, root cause, and solution
Provide technical support, on call and excellent customer service
Work closely with management, developers, project managers, technical staff and end-users to ensure successful project implementation and deliverables
Database solution design, performance monitoring, analysis and tuning
Capacity planning, space extent checks and extending database space
Backup and recovery (RMAN) and DR testing and planning
Ensure high availability and optimum performance of database systems
Standard database operations, daily checks, OEM/GRID
Exports, imports, reorgs, PL/SQL
Research and test new database technologies, share knowledge
Work towards automation and gaining efficiencies
Implementation and release of database changes
Perform database security audits and health checks
