Position: .Net Developer/Systems Analyst Specialist
Location: Richmond, VA
Duration: 1 Year (Contract)
Rate: Negotiable
Responsibilities
· This role provides technical consulting.
· Incumbents are top analytical experts in one or more highly specialized phases of applications systems analysis.
· Formulates or defines system scope and objectives.
· Often acts as business experts and assists users in defining needs.
· Recommends best technologies to enhance current systems.
· Conducts system architecture and business information flow studies.
· Recommends appropriate computer platforms, workstations and communication linkage required to support specific related business processes and information flow.
· May act as a project work team/group leader.
· Is responsible for working company wide in multi-platform environments on multi-project assignments.
· Guides and advises less experienced Systems Analysts.
· Errors may cause significant disruption to operations or major costs.
Qualifications
· Systems Analyst with in depth knowledge of ASP.Net, SQL Server, XML, SOA, Distributed Computing, Web Services, .NET, C#, HTML, XML, SQL. IIS, WCF, WPF, Web Services/SOAP, JavaScript, SQL Server, Oracle and Active Directory.
· Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
· The ability to work collectively with software engineers, architects and managers.
· Expertise in writing technical documents, ability to design via prototyping is a strong plus.
· Skilled in conducting requirements analysis meetings, design sessions and developer walkthroughs.
· The ability to work with end users and clients
· Extensive experience designing and developing technical specifications for web applications in .NET
· Leadership and problem solving capabilities.
· This level is staffed by individuals who have full technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis.
· Experience in programming, task management and systems analysis desired.
Education
· Bachelors preferred
