QA TESTER NEEDED

 

Location:               Lake Success, NY – Long Island

Duration:               3 month

 

Role:                       Load Runner engagement

Start:                     ASAP 

 

Overview:

·         Testing systems that are delivered as SaaS to auto dealers.

·         Going from Oracle 10.x to 11G and making changes to the DB structure

·         Primarily HTTP, but some AJAX and Web Service, possibly some MQ Series, but unlikely that will be touched by these scripts.

·         They have functional test scripts for all of the BP's and we will have access to BA's and developers.

·         They have a very strong LR team, but they are overwhelmed, so we will only have access to the Director of performance testing.

·         Client has been in acquisition mode for several years.  The applications are cobbled together and dealers typically have to deal with redirects from system to system to do their job.  This is being addressed in the current release.

·         Resources will be responsible for test plans, test cases, scenarios, and execution.

·         Development is in silos, so the resources will be working on different applications (so they can't really help each other).

·         Candidates MUST be able to work independently, though, as they will likely be tasked in different areas.
