Position: .Net Developer/Software Technician

Location: Moon Township, PA

Duration: 9 Months (Contract)

Rate: Negotiable

 

Essential Functions:

·         This position will participate in the design and development of a large suite of new internally developed .NET services and applications.

·         This person, drawing upon past experience, will provide expertise in choosing the correct direction for implementing technically innovative solutions to effectively create these critical systems.

·         As a member of a global team this person will participate in peer code reviews of their code and other's.

·         This position requires that the person be able to manage development in several simultaneous technology projects at one time with changing scope. 

 

Skill set Required:

·         A minimum 5 years demonstrated software development experience is required.

·         Demonstrated expertise in developing .NET services and web applications in Microsoft .NET using C# is required.

·         Experience developing solutions with Microsoft SQLServer 2005 or 2008 using ADO.NET is required.

·         Experience in developing Rich Internet Applications using Microsoft Silverlight/WPF is a plus.

·         Experience using Prism and/or MEF concepts, using MVVM design patterns or using WCF in .NET is a plus.

·         Experience developing solutions using an Agile or iterative development approach is in a team environment is a plus.
