Position: Programmer Analyst Specialist
Location: Richmond, VA
Duration: 8 Months (Contract)
Rate: Negotiable
Qualifications:
Required technical skills are:
- Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, .Net(VB, C#), Visual Basic, ASP, HTML, XML, AJAX, Java (JS2E), Windows, Unix.
- Experience in supporting existing applications as well as new development.
- Perform analysis, trouble shoot and repair production problems on existing systems.
- Work fast under the pressure of tight time windows.
- Adhere to strict compliance policies, procedures and technical standards while finding creative solutions to technically demanding challenges. Able to work independently as well as part of a team as the project or situation requires.
- Ability to do technical design and documentation a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Duties include supporting existing production applications as well as new development on capital projects as required.
Responsibilities
- Provides technical consulting and/or leadership on complex projects.
- Incumbents are technical experts in one or more areas of applications systems analysis and programming.
- May act as an expert in business or functional area.
- Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems.
- Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation.
- Has full technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming.
- Works companywide in multi-platform environments on multi-project assignments.
- Acts as a project work team/group leader.
- Errors may cause significant disruption to operations or major costs.
- Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
