Job Description

 

Ø  Strong OOP (required)

Ø  design patterns (required)

Ø  MVC (desirable)

Flash:

Ø  Action Script 2, 3 experience > 3 years (required)

Ø  Flex/Flash Builder IDE experience (required)

Ø  pure Action Script projects (w/o mxml or *.fla) experience required)

Ø  HTTP(S) via REST with JSON (or XML) (required knowledge)

Ø  SWC (desirable knowledge)

Ø  Flash security sandbox model (required knowledge)

Ø  AIR experience (desirable)

Ø  Flash Lite experience (desirable)

Ø  Action Script code (CPU utilization/network bandwidth/SWF size) optimizations experience (required)

Java:

Ø  Java 1.5, 1.6 experience > 5 years (required)

Ø  Servlets (required)

Ø  Jetty (desirable)

Ø  Maven (desirable)

Ø  threads (required)

Ø  event model (required)

Ø  sockets (desirable)

 

Soft Skills

Ø  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ø  Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Ø  Keen attention to detail and a high level of commitment.

 

Qualifications:

Ø  7+ year's software experience at an Applications Architect/Lead level.

Ø  Demonstrated ability to lead the design and development of complex applications.

Ø  Proven experience as a technical leader.
