Client is looking for Security Analyst - Franklin Lakes, NJ. This is for a 8-9 months contract position. The Hourly rate is $55-$65/hr. Need candidates only on W2 or 1099.
Requirement Notes:
A Security Analyst is needed with expert knowledge of security technologies and a strong project management background. Applicant must be able to perform:
- Day to day functions involved in the Governance, Risk and Compliance process. While the primary focus of this role is conducting information security related risk assessments, other facets include handling exception requests, conducting security awareness training, policy and standards promulgation as well as escalating issues to Security Management when necessary
- Assessments as to the risk and potential impacts of network, system, and application hardware and software additions to the client or the client's designated third parties' IT baseline, or IT management and operational changes, to their security, risk, and compliance posture.
- Work within the Global Execution Framework ("GEF"), under the direction of the manager and in consultation with other security analysts, as the security analyst will partner with the identified information / application owners and other stakeholders to evaluate the risks and potential impacts and document the risk assessment results per client's risk assessment process.
- Client's current policies, standards, and baselines as the working references and will use applicable ISO, HIPAA, PCI and SOX security standards when conducting assessments. Familiarity with HR and legal requirements for information security. Familiarity with e-business technology and security requirements. CISSP, CISM, CGEIT or comparable security designations preferred.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills; hold a four-year degree in Computer Science, Business or MIS; and have a consulting background. Must have good communication skills, be able to meet with clients, and manage deadlines.
