Position: Senior SAP Basis Consultant

Location: Richmond, VA

Duration: 1 Year (Contract)

Rate: Negotiable

• Linux           2

• SAP            5       
• SUN OS       2

Qualifications:

• 5 to 10 years of SAP BASIS experience.
• Detailed experience with SAP ERP, BW, XI, Portal, and Solution Manager.
• Administration experience with Solaris/Oracle and Linux/Oracle platforms.
• Ability to troubleshoot and determine the root cause of various SAP related issues.
• Experience with configuring CCMS and Solution Manager for system monitoring.  

Responsibilities:

• Provide the highest level of technical expertise and consulting to process teams and IT staff for SAP Basis systems.
• Expert in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system implementation and support.
• Undertake complex ERP projects requiring additional specialized technical knowledge.
• Make well-thought-out decisions on complex or ambiguous ERP implementation and support issues.
• Coordinate with users to determine requirements by evaluating, directing, and supporting SAP system enhancements and performs quality assurance functions.
• Research and implement solutions for Basis functionality in the areas of performance, monitoring, and tuning; systems configuration, design and implementation.
• Ensure that ERP system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency.
• Provide highest degree of technical engineering and support to the SAP team.
