Position: Senior Programmer Analyst
Location: Richmond, VA
Duration: 1 Year (Contract)
Rate: Negotiable
Qualifications:
- Good working knowledge of C, C++, and Make/Makefiles.
- Experience with Java core APIs and Swing GUI API.
- Experience with Object-Oriented development.
- Experience and comfort with using UNIX command-line interface (all flavors of UNIX – HPUX, Linux, Sun).
- Knowledge of source control basics (some experience with newer-generation source change control tools – i.e. branching/merging/etc…).
- COBOL knowledge a plus.
- Excellent knowledge of SQL – must be able to read, write, and debug Oracle SQL scripts.
- Experience with troubleshooting IT production issues (analysis, debugging, etc…).
- Ability to work in a high-paced work environment and able to juggle multiple tasks at once.
- Ability to interpret and write UNIX scripts – ksh, bsh, csh, etc.
- Knowledge of PERL scripts.
Responsibilities:
- Build an application with persistent domain objects using Dependency Injection, AOP (AspectJ) and Spring Object Relational Mapping (ORM with JPA/Hibernate) and with Ant build files.
