Hi,

 

We have immediate for 6+ months Contract Opportunity for Cognos Reports Consultant for Boston, MA. Any work authorization will work for the same. Locals will be first preference

 

 

Title: Cognos Reports Consultant

Duration: 6+  months

Location: Boston, MA

Rate: $45/hr c2c

 

Interview Process: Face to Face Required

 

Note: Candidate chosen will be required to pass credit background check - no credit delinquencies, no bankruptcies...  Also will undergo background check for employment verification, criminal and education

 

  Notes:

Client wants candidate with excellent communication skills, strong client-facing skills, again - excellent communication skills and solid Cognos Reports experience.  Able to talk with business side and mentor less experienced on Cognos Reports.   Not so much a Cognos Developer role but senior/hands-on as relates to Reports

   

Minimum Requirements:

8+ years overall - 6+ years minimum a technical advisor on developing Cognos queries and reports Strong overall use of Cognos.  Must have excellent communication skills and have documented experience in advising management on efficient uses of Cognos

  Applicant must meet ALL of these requirements.  

Description:

Under the direction of the project and product managers, work with business analyst and program owners to define, design, implement new reports or enhance existing reports to meet the business users need using Cognos. Serve as a technical advisor for the direct user development capability for developing Cognos queries and simple reports. Advises management on the efficient use of Cognos. Assist with the design and development of reporting frameworks to meet the expanding needs of the user community. Assist in the creation of requirements documents and define, document and review designs specs and report prototypes.
