Responsibilities:

 

Business Analyst with Retail Merchandising experience:

 

The BA will work closely with our Buying & Merchandising team to analyze current practices and systems, understand business goals, design target process solutions, document systems feature requirements, and work through the development and implementation of those solutions.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The Business Analyst is involved in all phases of the solution development lifecycle but is primarily responsible for requirements gathering, design, and technical requirements documentation.

• Ellicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops,  business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis.

• Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.

• Document functional requirements, use cases, data flows, process flows, test plans

• Participate in and sometimes lead the Test and Implementation phases of a project to ensure functional requirements were met with high quality.

 

.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• 3-5 years experience in retail merchandising and planning required. Merchandising systems experience preferred, Oracle Retail Suite
