Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: Plano, TX
Duration: 6 Month Contract

POSITION SUMMARY:
The successful candidate will be working on a complex but interesting project to help McAfee consolidate our global date centers into fewer locations. The project begins with deploying discovery technology to gather the world wide data center assets into a single repository. The repository will then be leveraged to support key initiatives for virtualization; modeling and visualization; and mapping network interdependencies among others. You will be teaming with a dynamic group of individuals that develop and implement technology solutions for data center migrations using network tools for decision making, planning and risk avoidance that establish a platform for a long term enterprise-wide run-manage solution.
Past involvement with tool rollout and/or process development would be very beneficial, as well as significant knowledge of datacenter infrastructure and operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Under management of Sr. Data Center Manager:
Advanced SQL Experienced  - Intermediate to Advanced experience is a plus
Advanced Excel Skills Database navigation - Data mining Analytical abilities to determine validity of results - not just report generators. Drive, Willingness and Ability to Learn to new things Ability to communicate results/reasons/methodologies as well as communicate with customers to determine needs with little supervision.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Four-year degree (Bachelors in Computer Science) or related experience.
6 to 8 years of experience in IT operations environment and migrations.

Requirment:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Minimum of 3 years experience with ITIL oriented (operational or service management) tools such as: service desk, change, availability, and/or performance monitoring management
Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
Extensive Migration Experience, Crystal reports, ITIL
