Job Title: SAS QA Tester
Location: Washington DC
Duration: 6+ Month Contract

QA Testing Analyst II acts as a key participant in application analysis, test strategy development, test case creation, test script development, test execution, defect tracking and reporting. The candidate may also be required to train end users. Knowledge of SAS and Unix is essential.

Candidate needed to plan, execute and report test activities for system, regression and user acceptance testing. Write test plans, develop test case logic with clear pass/fail criteria and write test cases. Generate test data to support the test cases. Execute test ensuring sufficient test artifacts for subsequent audit. Comfortable with testing SAS applications in the Unix environment. Familiar with the Rational tool set is preferred.
 
This tester should be comfortable executing SAS programs from UNIX command line. Able to manipulate large data sets (?1 Million Records) easily. Strong SDLC knowledge. Meticulous.
