We have immediate for 6 months Contract Opportunity for Data Warehouse – Architect for Schaumburg, IL. Any work authorization will work for the same. Locals will be first preference

 

Title: Data Warehouse – Architect

Duration: 6 months

Location: Schaumburg, IL

Interview Process: Phone to hire

 

 

Job Responsibilities:

Ø  Will be responsible for architecting and designing a holistic BI / DWH environment from ETL through to the end-user applications

Ø  Ability to facilitate the carry out business requirements and process analysis. Carry out required data analysis.

Ø  Being able to document and discuss the architecture/design with variety of audiences including client executives, project managers, end users and technical designers and developers

Ø  Data Modeling: Creates DW schema design and ensures optimum database performance.

Ø  ETL and OLAP Architect/Design: Define ETL strategies using SSIS and Reporting / OLAP strategies using SSRS and SSAS.

Ø  Configures BI environment (Dev/QA/Prod), develops the semantic layer (as required for adhoc reporting) and creates reporting definitions.

Ø  Working with the ETL & OLAP developers to ensure that the solution is meeting the data integration & reporting requirements.

Ø  Ensuring solution is build for performance and scalability.

Ø  Defines and enforces coding standards, design styles and best practices.

 

Experience on SQL Server is a must. Including SQL Server Integration Services(SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)

Minimum 8 + years of experience.

 

Experience on Master Data Management, Data Governance, Data Profiling/Quality and Predictive Analytics/Data Mining is NOT required.
