Job title: Sharepoint Developer
Location: Pittsburg . PA
Duration: 6 + Months
Availability: immediate
 
Responsibilities:
·         Enhance and maintain SharePoint sites.
·         Enhance performance or investigate and resolve complex technical issues.
·         Manage system and site security.  Set up permission levels and
·         permissions for individual users, SharePoint groups, libraries, and
·         lists
·         Design and deploy SharePoint web parts, Workflows, and InfoPath Forms
·         Ensure availability of SharePoint; apply patches, service
·         packs, and infrastructure updates through the CVS Caremark Enterprise
·         SharePoint Team.
·         Consult and collaborate with application developers, database
·         administrators, service providers and data center operations staff on
·         application issues  and problems
·         Use Knowledge of content organization techniques such as
·         metadata, content types, and navigation
·         Participate in requirements gathering sessions with
·         departmental SMEs and IT personnel and translate SharePoint business
·         requirements into functional requirements
·         Create and conducted end-user training using how-to guides,
·         tips and tricks, live and recorded presentations, and job aids
·         focusing on ease of use and best practice procedures
·         Train technical staff and end users.
 
Qualifications:
·         Detailed knowledge of the Windows operating systems with
demonstrated experience in systems administration, experience in
change management and SharePoint Development
·         Developed procedures and guidelines for SharePoint usage
·         Experience providing day-to-day end-user support through
email, desktop, and telephone support in a highly collaborative team
environment.
·         Experience using SharePoint Designer to customize Microsoft
Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2003/7 sites
·         Strong knowledge and demonstrated ability in scripting and
programming, including Microsoft.Net, C#, ASP.NET, VBscript and HTML,
XML, and XSL
·         Experience in User Interface design, InfoPath form design and
implementation
·         Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide
excellent customer service to the faculty
·         Ability to take high-level requirements and develop them into
robust applications, performing analyst duties as well as development,
architecture, training and support for Sharepoint applications
·         Excellent problem-solving skills
·         Demonstrated proficiency in mastering and applying new
technical skills and concepts
·         Ability to quickly diagnose and respond rapidly, effectively
and independently to critical issues and system difficulties
·         Strong client-service orientation
·         Minimum of one MS certification in SharePoint Development/Administration
·         Working knowledge of the features and architectural design of
·         Windows SharePoint services 3.0, Microsoft Office SharePoint Server
2003 & 2007 (MOSS).
·         Thorough understanding of these concepts: Collaboration,
·         Portals, Enterprise Search, Enterprise Content Management, Business
·         Process and Forms
·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills
·         Work well independently as well as part of a team
