Job Title  : Business Analyst with Conos or SAS
Location  : Auburn Hills, MI
Duration  : 6 Month Contract

Resource Primary Skill:   Cognos 8 & SAS
Specific Requirements:  
Project Execution   45%
Architects business intelligence (BI) solutions.
Estimates BI work effort and durations.
Leads BI efforts where two or more BI developers are assigned to a project.
Designs, constructs, tests, and implements BI programs, processes and cycles, for large, complex projects. Translating business needs into data analysis  
 and reporting solutions.
Performs administrator role for BI environment
Understands and provides input into logical data models and physical database designs.
Interacts with client & BRM community to gather requirements for BI solutions by conducting interviews, researching existing reports and queries and  
 understanding the business strategies and objectives of the client

Operational Support   45%
Provides production support for the BI environment.
Documents BI applications following organizational standards.
Understands business purpose of source data and how it is intended to be used in target environments.
Leverages expert knowledge by providing leadership and guidance to other team members.

Risk Management/Data Strategy   10%
Works with Data Architect on BI solutions
Strong knowledge of of bank's Data Strategy, promoting and incorporating the Data Strategy as appropriate.
Leads the creation, implementation, communication and on-going support of BI standards and processes.
Stays current with changing technology and industry trends in the area of BI. Taking a lead role in implementing and integrating new technology and
 techniques into the environment.
Works in accordance with Data Governance standards and processes.
Works in accordance with corporate policies and guidelines.
