Job Title : System Administrator
Location :  Oklahoma City, OK
Duration : 1 Year Contract

Required Skills :
iSeries Administrator with Progen-Plus and DB2 experience
We are currently searching for an IBM iSeries Administrator to maintain the integrity of the IBM iSeries (AS/400) platform Hardware and Client Devices; analyze performance of disk drive and CPU through-put; customize devices based upon functionality and user requirement; support the i5/OP Operating System and network; maintain PTF levels and i5/OS software compatibility; administer the TCP/IP protocol.  Candidate will need to administer and manage the DB2 Universal Database for iSeries.  Candidate will manage User Access to the iSeries; modify and control user profiles based on personnel changes; maintain application software and data access using i5/OS authorization rules; install, upgrade and maintain MS Windows Client Terminal and printer emulations; verify security and authority of external access through VPN, FTP, etc.  Modify and maintain Application Software using PROGEN-PLUS program generator; develop, code and implement new Applications using ILE and RPG compilers; develop and implement data-sharing functions between DB2.  Candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and development of custom developed software including:  create and test user data entry screens, reports, query and navigation tools, etc; create and test preprocessors and edits; create and test procedures for database loading and verification, as well as for database updating; create and test procedures for periodic re-indexing, adding fields or edits, software version upgrades, etc.; perform backups and restores; and debug problems.
