Client is looking for a ETL Developer. This is for a 12 month's contract position. Local candidates only. FACE TO FACE INTERVIEW required.
JOB DESCRIPTION : Sr. Programmer Analyst / ETL Developer
MUST HAVE: EXPERIENCE WITH INFORMATICA, DATA WAREHOUSING ETL DEVELOPMENT
- Works as part of a team responsible for new application development and/or improving existing applications to meet the changing needs of our business. Specific assignments may include application design and development, coding for enhancements and fixes, testing, maintenance and support. This position requires an advanced level of programming competency with specific experience in ETL development using Informatica, as well as experience in data warehouse development
Hiring Criteria:
- Advanced knowledge of application design principles, practices, systems development and analysis
- Prior experience data warehousing and business information analysis
- Prior experience using a structured systems development methodology
- Documented experience in data warehousing/business intelligence (5+ yrs)
- Experience with data warehousing/BI in project and production support environments
- Familiar with ETL and Microstrategy concepts and interaction with data model (a plus)
- Ability to work with BSAs and business to interpret business requirements into data requirements and data model
- Experience coordinating requirements through delivery between business, ETL and report resources
- Strong verbal and written communication skills that non-technical end users can understand
- Ability to work effectively over the phone, as well as, interact with remote team members and clients
- The ability to create a positive and professional business relationship with internal and external clients
Technical Skills (required):
- Informatica ETL development (5+ yrs)
- Experience data modeling in Oracle 10g environment, with both data marts and data warehouses
- Experience with Embarcadero E/R data modeling tool (5+ yrs)
- Experience with PL/SQL(5+ yrs)
- Experience with SAS data analysis tools (a plus)
- Experience with MicroStrategy tool (a plus)
