Job Description
DUTIES:
Work within a team of software engineers to develop user experience concepts and designs
for an innovative touch-screen user experience solution based on a set of requirements and work already completed on the project.
Responsibilities may include:
1) Develop user experience (UX) designs to meet requirements for a touch screen platform;may
include wire-framing, visual design, screen mockups, behavioral/interaction design, and requirements traceability.
2) Participate in the creation of prototypes for proof-of-concept and for use in usability sessions.
3) Create UX design documents to allow hand-off to software implementation team.
4) Contribute to design inspections.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor Degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Software Engineering, Computer Science, or
a closely related discipline to be determined by business needs or equivalent experience.
3-8 years experience designing UX solutions, including interaction design.
Proficient in user experience design and development tools; prefer experience with Microsoft
Expression Studio (including SketchFlow).
Experience with designing user experience solutions for touch-screen platforms preferred.
