Client is looking for a DataWarehouse Specialist - IRVINE, CA. This is for a 6 month's contract position.. Local candidates only. FACE TO FACE INTERVIEW required.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION: DataWarehouse Specialist

• Demonstrate expertise in the data warehouse/data mart life cycle especially with regards to translating business needs into BI solutions.
• Create reports and data cubes that enable end user access to data warehouse.
• Create specifications to supply report developers a roadmap to building report suites.
• Work independently gathering user requirements. Make presentations to the data warehouse team and participate in group design sessions.
• Pursue continuous improvement of data quality, standardization of data management processes, efficiency, and quality of service
• Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of internal/source information system modules, structure and data

 

REQUIREMENTS:

• BA or BS or equivalent experience required
• 3+ years of data warehouse specific experience required
• 3+ years of interacting with users in an analyst or developer capacity
• Experience with Microsoft BI products, especially SSRS.
• Understanding of enterprise data warehousing, dimensional modeling and STAR schemas.
• Healthcare / Managed Care industry reporting and analysis experience strongly preferred
• Experience facilitating data discovery and requirements gathering
• Proficiency with MS SQL
• Excellent technical, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills required
