Client is looking for a Systems Analyst - Health Services – Tallahassee, FL. This is for a 6 months contract position. The Hourly rate is DOE. US Citizen or Green Card Holder only.
Minimum Skills:
Information technology systems integration and data exchange experience
Experience with ambulatory care setting health programs
Experience with Rational tool suite/RUP
Demonstrated experience with the testing of web-based applications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and end user staff
Analyze and coordinate application/front-end/system/interface outages and interruptions.
Duties:
Perform an environmental scan of the Department of Health's technical infrastructure, including applicable applications compliance with Federal data coding and transmission protocols, integration broker capabilities, and networks, in conjunction with the our for Health Care Administration readiness planning for Recovery Act Health Information Exchange implementation.
Facilitate the interface design and exchange process for Public Health Surveillance and State and Federal Reporting
Facilitate the interface design and exchange process for Electronic Laboratory Reporting
Develop a Request for Information (RFI) to scan market availability and costs of e-Prescribing software solutions
Facilitate the interface design and exchange process for e-Prescribing
Conduct user interface design workshops with county health department and program office stakeholders
Develop project artifacts
Work closely with software developers and business experts to develop interface designs from requirements specifications, analysis models, design models, and existing system designs
Develop other deliverables as determined by the management
Monitor program usage and produce usage reports
Generate weekly and monthly status reports detailing various milestones, issues and project progress.
Provide technical guidance for HMS interface design process for e-prescribing
Identify the hardware/software needs for the project
