Job Title                                            :          Senior level data center engineer or Senior Windows Administrator

Job Type (Contract)                           :           8 months with extensions

Location                                            :           Des Moines, IA

 

 

Must have 10 years of experience

 

Required skills:-

 

• Senior level data center engineer with experience in latest hardware platforms, network technologies and storage technologies
• Candidate should have proven knowledge of hardware and OS administration (HP Blades), server virtualization (VMWare), networking (Cisco, HP Procure), security, backups tools, capacity planning and SAN/NAS technologies
• 10+ years proven experience in administration of Windows Server 2003/2008 and RedHat Enterprise Linux 64bit OS
• Proven experience in deployment, configuration and support of Wintel operating systems, IIS, MS SQL Server
• Experience with configuring and deploying storage leveraging McData directors, HDS enterprise arrays, and Sun storage technologies
• Experience with installing and supporting VMWare VSphere 4
• Knowledge of interoperability in heterogeneous environment and system process automation
• Must be a team player with excellent oral and written communication skills.

 

Additional desired experience:-

• High availability technologies
• Storage (HDS, Sun)
• Database services (MS SQL Server 2005), Veritas NetBackup, LDAP, Nagios, Cacti
• Knowledge of multiple hardware platforms (HP, IBM, Sun)
