Requirement Details:

 

Job Title                                            :          Senior JBoss administrator

Job Type (Contract)                           :           8 months with extensions

Location                                            :           Des Moines, IA

 

 

·         "Senior level JBoss Administrator with experience in system and application performance tuning.

·         Candidate should have proven knowledge of server virtualization (VMWare), UNIX scripting, file permissions, security, backup tools, capacity planning and SAN/NAS technologies.

·         Administration of RedHat Enterprise Linux 64bit OS

·         Proven experience in deployment, configuration and support of JBoss Application Server

·         Experience with configuring and deploying clustering and high availability technologies in both RedHat and JBoss

·         Experience with installing and supporting Apache on Linux

·         Knowledge of interoperability in heterogeneous environment and system process automation

·         Must be a team player with excellent oral and written communication skills.

 

Additional desired experience:-

·         High availability technologies

·         Storage (HDS, Sun)

·         Database services (Oracle 10g RAC), Veritas NetBackup, LDAP, Nagios, Cacti

·         Knowledge of multiple hardware platforms (HP, IBM, Sun)"
