SAS Engineer - Production Support

Location Herndon, VA

Duration 6 Months

 

Required Skills:

 

Strong UNIX knowledge. Experience in Linux/Solaris/AIX. • Strong experience supporting SAS based applications. Ability to analyze and troubleshoot SAS error messages is a must. • Ability to write SAS code is a huge plus. Specific SAS areas preferred are STAT, GRAPH, ORACLE • Working experience in UNIX shell and Perl scripting. • Carry a pager and respond to it in a timely manner. Provide off-hour support as needed. • Knowledge of web services. HTTP, XML, Apache, JBoss, and Weblogic is a plus. • Knowledge of ETL products. AbInitio is a plus. • Sufficient knowledge of SQL commands. • Experience in system monitoring tools.
