6 – 12 + Months

 

***Please note*** Local St. Louis area candidates only please! 

This is an Oracle engineering position, not a DBA operations position, so no day-to-day production support work.

 

Candidate must provide:

Experience with Oracle 10 RAC on RHEL

Expertise in file system design relative to Oracle performance

Has led an effort to drive standards across the enterprise with regards to Oracle

 

Candidate will be involved in the following:

Oracle database software installation and patching.

Database upgrades.

RMAN backup and recovery scripting.

UNIX shell scripting.

Oracle Grid Control setup and configuration.

Grid RAC database environments with Clusterware.

Data Guard - physical and logical databases.
