Position Description:

The candidate will be a Collaboration Project Lead for various development projects supporting the Chief Knowledge Office. The primary focus is Microsoft SharePoint. Applicant must be able to support existing SharePoint Sites, as well as design, code, test, and support new SharePoint sites. Ability to confer with end-users and other IT staff to resolve questions on program intent, output, and input requirements. Strong background in user interface design is a must. Ability to work independently or on a team to complete development projects under tight timelines with minimal oversight. The Project Lead, will also determine and enforce effective use practices and standard operating procedures.

The candidate will meet with customers to fulfill the full project lifecycle * requirements, development, implementation and close-out.
* Experience developing custom solutions for SharePoint using web parts; strong working knowledge of the SharePoint Object Model.
* Ability to architect a solution by mapping a customer's business problem to an end-to-end technology solution
* Comfortable and effective acting as liaison between multiple technology groups and representing groups in large scale meetings.
* Establish credibility at all levels within the client and build problem-solving partnerships with the client and colleagues.
