We have an urgent requirement for our client who is looking for a Hyperion Planning Consultant at Illinois

The Job Description is as follows:

Job Title:                          Hyperion Planning Consultant

Duration:                           6 Months

Location:                          Illinois

Start Date:                        Immediate

Skills Required:

Hyperion Skills:

• Good understanding of Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing and Performance Management market and applications
• Good understanding of Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Financial Management and Essbase
• A senior BI professional with at least 7-8 years of relevant experience
• Good understanding of finance, functional, planning & budgeting domain
• Be able to acquire process & technical knowledge around these areas and playback the acquired knowledge
• Prior experience in Production Support for above applications in an onsite/offshore engagement model
• Be able to set up the required project infrastructure by coordinating with different technical and functional teams
• Identify gaps and suggest process improvements in the above areas
• Responsible for resolution of incidents and tickets in steady state mode
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis and proactive issue prevention
• Automation of repetitive tasks

Project Management Skills:

• Chart out a clear, overall project plan for the entire application outsourcing initiative
• Be able to finalize entry and exit criteria for each of the project deliverables, across phases
• Finalize transition plan, with due emphasis to waving (phased approach)
• Rigorous coordination and positive interaction with all stakeholders, especially during the transition and knowledge acquisition phase
• Ability to conduct technical and business process study
• Understand and support transition methodology, with tools
• Ability to frame, articulate and finalize SLAs with right metrics, timelines etc
• Finalize call flow process
• Finalize on metrics reporting
• Finalize on governance structure
• Optimum resource utilization
• Service Delivery – SLA Monitoring, Reporting & SLA Accountability
• Risk management, during the entire transition phase
• Adherence to Key Performance Indicators
• Productivity Improvements
• Accountable for overall program delivery and transition completion
• Able to follow Change Management cycle
• Plan, coordinate and manage releases
• Actively participate in Transition Review & Service Review meetings
