This is for my direct client opening for SQL Server Developer – NYC, NY. This is a contract position. The Hourly rate is DOE. US Citizens OR GC Holder OR EAD only
Skills
- Minimum 8-10 years experience in SQL Server development
- Strong SQL 2005 development skills (Migrating to SQL Server 2008 this year)
- Must have Very Strong in SQL Server Transact-SQL (T-SQL) Language.
- Must have Strong SQL skills including query optimization, stored procedures, views, and triggers.
- Must have strong attention to detail and experience producing high quality structured SQL code.
- Strong knowledge of data manipulation using stored procedures and MS Integration Services.
- Experience in both OLTP and Relational OLAP systems
- Experience in writing complex MDX Query with SQL Server CUBE
- Experience in SQL Server Services as SSAS, SSIS, SSRS.
- Experience dealing with large scale systems (> 500 GB)
- Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
- Bright, good school a plus
- Team player
- Knowledge of Financial Investment Banking, Risk, PnL, derivatives & especially credit derivatives a big plus
- Knowledge of MicroStrategy a plus
- Asp.net development a plus
