Seeking QA Analyst

Location: Babylon, NY

Duration: 1 Year

Rate: $40/hr

 

***Must have hands on technical "programming" background in their experience! (Stated in the resume)***

The position requires the hands-on technical skills of a programming nature not just a good QA background or Automated tested background.
The nature of the QA we do is… Technical Development QA not User Acceptance Testing, or Product Acceptance Testing. A hands-on "technical" background is a MUST.

 

Description:

Will provide in-depth technical assistance to QA Analysts and Development in the technical investigating of problems (bugs).
Must have demonstrated excellent skills in the following technologies: FAST, Java, XML, SQL
Will possess Strong organization, project planning and multi-tasking skills. .
Will be responsible for the accurate technical evaluation and test execution of projects assigned.
Will formulate tests strategies and test plans for all software projects assigned.
Must have excellent communication skills working in conjunction with Development engineering and On-shore/Offshore QA staff.
Must be able to act independently from Product/Business and Development teams in executing our QA strategy.
Will work with QA management, Project management and Lead developers on a day to day basis.
Will possess excellent skills and knowledge of manual and automation testing. (The HP/Mercury Suite is used - Quality Center, Quick Test Pro and LoadRunner)
