Job Title: Business Objects Developer
Location: Houston,TX
Duration: 6 Month Contract to Hire

Note: Must be EAD ,GC or Citizen

8 years experience total- 4 years current experience designing and Developing BO universes and reports
experience with multiple RDBMS ( relational database management systems)- Oracle, MS/SQL/Sybase
Strong SQL skills
Ability to accurately estimate report development work
Ability to make correct design decisions for report development
A demonstrated record of success in the development and implementation of application systems in a high availability and reliability environment
Experience with large data warehouse data models

 

Pluses:
B.A. or B.S.
energy trading experience- NGL (natural gas liquids)
Understanding of Business Intelligence best practices 
Experience with production support in a BO environment
Experience with Business Objects 6.x and XI.
Experience with migration and upgrade of Business Objects
Experience in Performance Tuning of SQL

D2D:
The Developer role reports to the NGL Delivery Manager and is responsible for:
Development / enhancement of BO reports and environment
BO Universe development
Develops report specifications / detail design documents. Codes, tests and debugs reports.
Develops prototypes from functional specifications
Assists users in testing, preparation for operations
Work directly with the NGL users to train, support, demonstrate and create reports
Production support of existing reports may be required
Enhancements to existing reports and/or universes
