This is for my direct client opening for IIS Engineer - Hartford, CT. This is a 2+ month's contract position. The Hourly rate is DOE. 

 

Skills: Microsoft IIS Version 5, 6 and 7 Implementation and configuration experience, PowerShell and VB Scripting, Microsoft Windows 2008, Scripting Automation

Description: We have a one-year consulting opportunity for an IIS engineer with strong implementation skills. This consultant must have 2 to 4 years of experience to provide engineering support to a major migration from IIS 6 into IIS 7. And trouble shoot the web farm. Candidate must be a strong team player with enterprise environment experience.

The ideal candidate must have experience migrating web applications between IIS 5 into IIS 6 versions, IIS 6 to IIS 7 experience desired. Experience with automation tools and scripting to support the migrations, is also a requirement, along with a solid Microsoft server 2008 background.
