Job Title: Data analyst/etl Analyst
Location: Newark, NJ
Contract: 12+ Months Contract
 
Data analyst/etl Analyst
Unique opportunity for qualified Business analyst with data mapping background. Shall be establishing
requirements for enterprise reporting environment for our strategic client partner. Flexible hrs for
right team member Ideal team member has 6-10 years experience as a functional BA ideally in BI and or data
warehouse base initiatives.
 
Develops requirements and functional specifications for a collection of business intelligence projects,
including new data sources, derived data sets and/or software applications.
 
The Senior BSA is expected to be able to take the lead on a project with guidance
from a lead or manager, as well as work with offshore and/or offsite technical resourcesFunctional
specifications include some combination of the following:  data and source system analyses, source to
target mappings, transformation rules, complex derivations, data and system flows, data validation and user
interface design.  Remains engaged in the project through the remaining SDLC phases, performing research and
analysis to resolve questions and issues that arise.  Provides key input to system test and user acceptance test plans.
May be called upon to assist in performing testing as needed.
 
Experience with any or all of the following is ideal:
Business rules engines
Data mapping-etl
SQl queries
Data quality
heathcare a plus
