Position: Storage Consultant

Duration: 7 Months

Location: Folsom, CA

 

The Job Description is as follows:

Skills:

 

.Expertise on EMC DMX and CX series, Celerra NAS

.Rich operational experience in various flavors of UNIX & different versions of Windows

.Expertise in Configuring domains, SANs & zones

.Expertise in reconfiguring SAN switch as per design document.

.License management

.H/W troubleshooting & Vendor coordination

.Incident management

.Change management

.Configuration management

.Log monitoring/maintenance

.Storage & SAN hardening

.Remote Administration

.Deployment of application software/tools

.Knowledge of Disk drive types(SATA, FC)

.To check for HOST being added in the SAN meets SAN compatibility matrix criteria

.Have hands on experience in upgrading Storage & SAN Switch Firmware

.Rich experience in performance issues w.r.to SAN Switch & EMC Storage

.Generate performance reports & analyze

.To prepare & maintain LMR(LUN Map Report)

.To prepare & maintain SAN diagram

 

Prepare PIR/RCA & discuss the same with customer.

SAN Switches -

.Experienced in Production SAN Environment.

.Configure, Modify & troubleshoot Domain, SAN & Zones

.Upgrade SAN switch firmware

.To generate & maintain SAN diagram
