Job Title:  Oracle Functional Financial Reporting and Reconciliation Analyst
Location:  Linthicum, MD
Duration:  12 +months
 
Scope:
Perform Financial Reconciliation and Analysis for the group of benefits contractors. Identifies and resolves the reconciling items, exceptions and issues. Creates recon sheets and provides to CMS and the contractors. Perform the financial reconciliation for the OBIEE incremental loads for the benefits contractors. Advises and takes action on potential improvement areas. 

Responsibilities:  
Execute daily and monthly reconciliation check lists and prepare recon sheets for the assigned contractor organizations.
Analyze and resolve the reconciling items in the financial reconciliation in GL and between sub-ledger and GL
Support the financial reconciliation activities related to transition of new contractors
Support month end close activities
Participate in functional walk-throughs and identify the financial integrity impacts and take the necessary actions.

Required Skills
CPA or equivalent
6 yrs exp working on Oracle financial applications in a highly customized environment
5 yrs exp with strong understanding of Oracle Financial Accounting
5 yrs exp with advanced functional understanding of Oracle General Ledger
5 yrs exp with strong writing and communication skills
Basic skills of SQL and Oracle Financials Base tables
Must be able to work onsite
Must be able to work overtime, including evenings and weekends 

Preferred Skills
2 yrs of Federal Accounting experience
Working knowledge or TROR report
OBIEE Functional Experience
