Sr. Developer responsible for the Internal Tools in Clients Hosting Practice, which outsources mission critical systems & support functions for clients, hosting & managing the full lifecycle of large, crucial ERP-centric applications. The Internal Tools team is responsible for developing, improving & maintaining the set of applications used by the Hosting Practice including the Monitoring, Service Management & Knowledgebase tools. All the applications we support are custom developed web-based applications written primarily in PHP and run on Linux.

Required Skills
·         Thorough knowledge of Linux operating system and familiar with Windows and  Unix flavors like AIX, Solaris, and HP-UX
·         Strong experience configuring, installing and troubleshooting in an LAMP environment
·         Strong PHP Development experience with 5+ years experience.
·         Thorough understanding of MySQL optimization and configuration
·         Experience with open source development tools including bug tracking software, Zend Framework (or other PHP frameworks) and Subversion
·         Basic networking knowledge - such as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with routing on multiple network interfaces.

"NICE TO HAVE" SKILLS:
·         Experience with service management applications
·         Experience with system monitoring tools possibly including but not limited to Nagios, OpenView, Tivoli, Cacti, RRDTool
·         Bash or Korn shell scripting knowledge.
·         SAP, Microsoft SQL, and Oracle experience helpful
