Location: Holland, MI

Duration: 6.5 Months (Contract)

Rate: Negotiable

 

Description:

• This position is responsible for providing the electrical engineering work activities needed to design, develop, and validate interior lighting systems. 

Typical Duties:

• Technical support of innovation projects - including auto show properties
• Quoting - provide both ED&D and supplier quotes to our internal quote teams
• Customer interface - support customer visits as our technical expert
• Product design - own the hardware design elements in conjunction with our EBU technical experts
• EBU technical experts management - leverage existing EBU technical experts for specific technical support
• Supplier management - own supplier relationship
• Overall electronics program management responsibilities.
• Warranty support - aid in problem resolution of any issues that arise
• Ensure global alignment with all activities. 

Requirements:

• BSEE from accredited four-year college or university.
• Good computer skills (Microsoft Office Suites)
• OE Automotive/Tier 1 experience with interior systems/components is highly desired
• Solid communication and organizational skills - able to provide program management services as well as serve as technical liaison to OEM customer.
• Able to work with suppliers to ensure they can deliver a quality product.
