We are looking for User Interface Designer for one of my Clients
Title: User Interface Designer(UI Designer)
Location: Chicago, IL
Duration: 3 Months +
Start Date: Immediate
We are looking Total 8+years of exp
Role Specific Responsibilities
· Ability to produce site maps, user flows, wireframes, page layouts and deliverables for hand-off to technology.
· Conduct usability testing to validate UI design with stakeholders and end-users, writing test scripts, facilitating usability sessions, analyzing test results and presenting findings.
· Proactively identify opportunities to improve the site usability and the overall quality of the site design, organization and structure
· Uphold user interface and site design guidelines to ensure consistency across the application.
· Partner closely with Business Systems Analyst supporting related technical documentation work including User Interface specification
· Provide guidance to ensure effective translation of user interface designs during technical implementation.
· Ability to provide guidance to content writers to define and develop content to support customers' online interactions
· Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT): test participant, issue identification and resolution.
Key Position Statistics
· Must have 3-5+ years experience in web site and application design at a financial institution or supporting a transaction-based site.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements
· College degree in Interaction or Interface design, or comparable professional experience required
· Familiarity with transactional or e-commerce interface design required, experience with financial services and/or online banking applications preferred.
· Strong visual design sense, familiarity with branding standards.
· Ability to translate customer and business requirements and Use Cases into effective User Interface Designs.
· Ability to write or support creation of detailed functional specification documentation supporting UI designs.
· Ability to develop and translate design guidelines and standards.
· Knowledge of the Internet, Internet Technologies, web development processes & tools and web production
· Knowledge of accessibility standards and solutions
· In-depth knowledge of User Interface Design, best practices and industry standards
· Familiarity with user/customer-centered design and development approaches
· Familiarity with end-user prototype and usability testing
· Familiarity with contextual inquiry style client research and user persona's
· Experience with Axure, Visio, Dreamweaver, Photoshop and Morae a plus
