Job Summary:
• This is a senior-level Developer position.
• We are seeking a talented person with solid object-oriented analysis,
design, and development experience to help create and maintain technical
solutions to support our internal business customers.
• This person will be instrumental in the design, development, deployment
and maintenance of state-of-the-art business information systems for our
ecommerce team.
• This position requires a highly motivated individual who is comfortable
with rapid changes in direction and environment.
• The successful candidate will be customer oriented, results driven (i.e.
solutions oriented) and passionate about delivering innovative quality
services to our customers.
• This position reports to the Software Development Manager.
Responsibilities:
• Play a key role in the design and development of enterprise-class web
application software
• Explore and recommend infrastructure as required to support the needs of
the executive, business and marketing groups to empower internal customers
• Contribute to the daily maintenance, stability, and tuning of existing
processes
• Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required Skills:
• 5+ Years of industry experience using an OO language (Java/J2EE)
• 3+ years of enterprise experience with Java Frameworks (Hibernate / EJB 3,
Spring, JSP)
• In depth experience with Application and Web Servers (JBoss, Tomcat,
Resin, WebSphere, WebLogic)
• Unix/Linux platform experience (CentOS, Red Hat Enterprise)
• 3+ years experience with relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server)
• Intermediate to advanced SQL skills
• 2+ years of experience developing transactional web services (SOAP,
Restful) in a SOA environment
• Full product development life cycle application experience
• BS in Computer Science or related technical field
Additional Desired Skills:
• Experience with Agile methodologies (eXtreme Programming, Scrum)
• Experience with IDEs (Eclipse, IntelliJ, NetBeans)
• Experience with build tools (Maven, Ant)
• Experience with continuous integration tools (Hudson, Cruise Control,
Continuum)
• Experience with revision control tools (Subversion, CVS, ClearCase)
• Experience with testing & analysis tools (JUnit, TestNG)
