Job Title :  Salesforce.com QA
Location:  Raleigh, NC
Duration : 6 month contract

Primary Responsibilities:
Debug software products through the use of systematic tests (manual and automated) to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products. Develop, modify, and execute software test plans and test cases.
Support testing efforts around the integration points between Red Hat software and the following SalesForce.com modules: Leads, Opportunities, Accounts, Contacts, Campaigns, Reports and Dashboards.
Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.
Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action. Consult with development engineers in resolution of problems.

Requirements:
5+ years experience in software verification, including Java web applications
Direct experience performing integration testing of external/internal applications with Salesforce.com and at a level sufficient for developing test strategies (VP Page vs. S-Controls, Apex functionality vs. standard Salesforce features)
Hands-on experience with test automation using the Selenium open-source web application testing system with Java and Eclipse
Experience working as a member of an Agile software development team
Must be able to work both independently and within the Scrum methodology; will be a member of a team consisting of software developers and architects, business analysts, and project managers.
 

Value-Adds:
Experience with Firefox addons such as Firebug and XPath Checker
User of the Linux operating system - preferably the RHEL distribution
Exposure to the OpenOffice office productivity suite
Oracle Applications
