Position:              UI Developer           

Location:              Hartford, CT

Duration:             6+ Months

 

 

Job Description:

·         Maintain current knowledge and expertise levels in the use of the third party software products used in the development process. . These products include Rational

·         Application Developer, Eclipse, J2EE Application Servers, Source Control Software such as CVS,

·         SVN, Relational Databases such as DB2, Oracle,  Testing products and some open source

·         software used in the development process.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS

·         Working knowledge of the core Java language

·         Working knowledge of HTML/CSS, Dojo, Ext-JS Widgets technologies

·         Knowledge of Object Oriented Design and Development patterns

·         Basic database skills. SQL queries

·         Sun Java Developer Certification a plus

·         Experience on IBM Portal application development

·         Experience with any application servers like JBoss, WebSphere, or  WebLogic is a plus

·         Experience with persistence frameworks (e.g. EJB3, JPA, Hibernate) is a plus
