Client is looking for Application Support - Wilmington, DE. This is a 6 months contract to hire position. The Hourly rate and Salary range is DOE. 
 
Job Summary:
The Programmer / Analyst maintains software environments for development and testing. You will perform software upgrades, uploads, and deploys company and/or third party software. You will set up and maintain test databases and/or testing environments and will execute test plans and test cases from specifications and compile results as well as perform basic programming or scripting tasks.
 
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Must have 3+ years experience in a technical role such as technical support or managing software environments, plus 4+ years experience in the Retail Banking industry.
Must have experience with Unix Scripting and TCPIP Communications and experience using C++ or Java is preferred.
Must have knowledge of operating systems, databases, virtual environments, networking and server set-up configurations.
Must have strong analytical skills including the ability to provide solutions to technical problems.
Must have strong working knowledge of MS Office applications and working knowledge of SQL Query development or Oracle.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as customer service skills.
