RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan, design and write code to build a robust testing framework, automation and testing tools from scratch.
Automate service oriented test scenarios to effectively test applications for our new software application.
Partner with development teams to ensure quality early and support a TDD software methodology.
Understanding of various testing and software methodologies.
Provide support, training and documentation for QA team, to include best practices and increase automation coverages.
Develop test strategies, plans, metrics extraction and results analysis documentation.
Participate in planning discussions with both the Development and QA teams.
REQUIREMENTS:
6+ years of software quality assurance test experience with a minimum of 3 years focused on building test automation frameworks.
3+ years of development experience in a .NET environment for both Web and Windows applications using C#, VB.NET, and ASP.NET.
3+ years of database experience using MS SQL server
Solid QTP experience (i.e. must be a GURU)
Experience designing and developing a test automation framework from scratch.
Working knowledge of load generation and measurement software.
In-depth experience with performance metrics extraction and reporting tools
Experience creating test plans, test cases and scripts
Knowledge of the entire software development process (SDLC)
Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills in a technical environment
Self-motivated, requiring minimal oversight
Good team player with the ability to handle multiple concurrent priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Bachelors degree in a related technical field or equivalent education/work experience
PREFERRED: Able to write complex SQL queries and understand data relationships
