One of our Clients in Detroit, MI is looking to fillSr.SharePoint Developer position on a minimum of 12 months contract basis. -Required qualifications include knowledge of the following:

 

 

 

Title: Sr. Developer

 

Location:  Jackson, MI

 

Duration: 6 months

 

 

 

The SharePoint Senior Developer will provide functional,technical and architectural leadership to design SharePoint solutions for thecorporate portal, collaboration sites and document management sites usingindustry best practices.  The SharePointSenior Architect / Developer will also assist with the development andimplementation of these solutions and be responsible for conducting gatereviews throughout the system development lifecycle.   The SharePoint Senior Architect / Developerwill also have responsibility for identifying improvement opportunities for theSharePoint platform and applications.  Finally, the SharePoint Senior Architect / Developer will mentor companyemployees to help strengthen their technical skills.   

 

 

 

•       BA/BS requiredwith a concentration in Computer Science, Management Information Systems orBusiness, or equivalent experience

 

•       Experiencearchitecting, developing and implementing SharePoint solutions.

 

•       Demonstratedability to interact with the client business community to refine businessrequirements and to translate the requirements into documented SharePointtechnical requirements and designs

 

•       Experiencedeveloping SharePoint prototypes for capability assessments and demonstrations.

 

•       Experienceestimating work efforts.

 

•       Greatmentoring skills. Experience guiding other development resources on bestpractices.

 

•       Microsoft SharePointCertification is desired

 

•       4+ years ofexperience using .NET framework, ASP.NET and C#, ADO.NET, WCF, WF, WebServices, XML, XSLT, JavaScript

 

•       4+ years ofSharePoint experience including SharePoint 2010

 

•       StrongExperience with SharePoint Application Life Cycle Management and TeamFoundation Server.  Experience in use ofSharePoint Designer packaging techniques.

 

•       6+ yearsdeveloping with Content Management and Document Management solutions

 

•       3+ yearsdeveloping corporate intranets

 

•       Experiencewith Social Computing including My Sites and My Profile.  NewsGator experience is a bonus.

 

•       Extensiveexperience with Content Types and Meta Data including strong understanding ofEnterprise Content Management

 

•       Hands onexperience developing Web Parts and SharePoint code using Microsoft BestPractices

 

•       Experiencewith FAST Search, Business Connectivity Services, and InfoPath.
