Client is looking for 10 Sr. Data Modeler/Architect Contractor for a 6 + months project in MN.
Duration: 6+ Months
Location: Minneapolis, MN
The Data Modeler/Architect works with a Lead Data Architect to understand modify or create data warehouse data structures to source claims and membership data from external systems. This includes database design, data profiling and data mapping and transformation rule documentation. The Data Modeler may also participate in data extract projects to review or complete data mappings and modify or create supporting data mart or work flow structures. The Data Modeler/Architect may support 3-4 deliverable assets and participate in multiple units depending upon size and complexity of the deliverables. A unit in this context is defined as a team that is responsible for an EDIM asset:
They want to target those with around 10 years of recent experience doing data modeling and architecture.
Key technologies to look for are Erwin, Teradata, and strong data warehouse knowledge and ICD10.
Skills and Experience
Minimum of 10 years of IT professional experience
An individual with 5 years of recent data modeling experience, preferable in data warehousing and 3NF modeling practices.
Knowledgeable in Erwin
Strong SQL experience (for data profiling)
Strong communication skills
Team player
Motivated person able to work independently
