Title:Sharepoint Developer
Location:PriMed - San Ramon Regional Office, San Ramon, CA
Description:
Under leadership of the Manager, Software Development, the Software Developer is responsible for SharePoint Website design, development and maintenance, implementation and technical documentation. Provide SharePoint development support by analyzing specifications, designing logic, writing code, customizing products, testing and debugging, and documenting software for Microsoft Office SharePoint server (MOSS) portal implementations. Collaborate with the business groups to develop team sites and create new functionality for SharePoint portal sites. Identify and resolve technical problems during portal implementation and rollout. Architect, implement, and manage a SharePoint server environment on multiple networks.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
• Responsible for design and development of Sharepoint sites and Intranet/Internet/Extranet collaboration.
• Develop custom InfoPath workflows, web parts and BI reports using Excel Services, SSRS and PerformancePoint
• Collaborate with infrastructure and I.S. teams to design and develop Sharepoint Solutions.
• Maintains and updates existing applications; implements and maintains new websites and applications.
• Collaborate with various customers.
• Uses knowledge of technology to recommend software, communications, security, and similar solutions to best meet PriMed’s needs.
• Maintain Sharepoint functionality; provides direct issue resolution and/or collaborates with team members for resolution.
• Support management in recommending process enhancements and analyze new procedures to enhance efficiency.
• Assist in the development of project and test plans by providing reliable development estimates.
• Participate in staff, team, and planning meetings as needed.
• Other related duties as assigned.
Visual Studio 2010, REST/SOAP Web services, SharePoint Client Object Model APIs, ASP.NET, SharePoint 2010, SharePoint Designer Workflows, Visual Studio Workflows· SharePoint Web Content Management
Required Experience:
• 3+ years’ experience with the design, development and maintenance of enterprise level SharePoint development.
• Ability to work in multiple SharePoint roles: analyst, developer, administrator.
• Experience with using and developing SharePoint, Microsoft SharePoint Designer, and Visual Studio.NET
• Experience with Microsoft application development with .NET, including VB, ASP, or C#
• Experience with SharePoint Portal Server and Windows SharePoint Services implementation and deployment, including the creation development of workflows, forms, custom implementations of out of the box web parts, configuration of Enterprise Search, creation of custom list, content types, etc. Custom Web parts
• Experience working with Microsoft Project Server, Forms Server, InfoPath, SQL Server, BizTalk Sever desirable.
• Business Intelligence – SSRS and Performance Point experience is a plus.
• IIS 7/8, AD/ADFS, Windows Server 2008, Name resolution, Basic Firewall rules and Proxy knowledge.
• Microsoft certifications desirable.
• Demonstrated knowledge of structured development processes, technical project management, software testing and documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills both technical and user focused.
• Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment, prioritize multiple tasks and problem solve under pressure of deadlines and resource constraints.
Required Education:
• Minimum B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
