This is our direct-client for a Business Systems Developer located in Santa Monica, CA. This is a contract, contract-to-hire, or permanent position and the salary is competitive, but depends on experience.

 

Our client is looking for a solid Business Systems Developer to help with the integration of our client's back office systems.

More specifically…

• Contribute to the design and architecture of applications to help integrate multiple business systems including supply chain, accounting, and consumer facing web applications
• Develop dashboards and automated processes to synchronize data across multiple platforms.
• Analyze design and architectural issues, and adjust existing system design and procedures to solve problems in a dynamic environment.
• Participate in the development and customization of existing Great Plains ERP system.
• Troubleshoot issues quickly and determine the best course of action to resolve them

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

• EDUCATION: 4-year degree (or equivalent experience)
• EXPERIENCE: 5+ years of professional development experience with an Object Oriented Language (Ruby, C++, C#, Java, etc)
• Previous systems integration experience working with ERP, CRM, or customized in-house applications.
• Must have strong object oriented design and programming background
• Strong SQL skills. Experience with MySQL a plus
• Experience with GP, Pentaho, Kettle, or Rails highly preferable
• Strong team player
