Job Title : Project Manager
Location : Long Island
Duration : 6 Month Contract


ROLE DESCRIPTION:
This role is part of a dedicated team in Citi Cards focused on developing new state of the art, customer centric marketing processes and technology.  The candidate will be required to partner with Marketing, Decision Management and Risk Teams to design, build and deliver a hosted solution for the same.


The successful candidate will be able to:
Work with outside vendors and internal teams to develop/execute an enterprise level marketing management platform/process
Lead or participate in analytical and technology based proof-of-concepts being managed and executed by the project team
Identify opportunities to use data to develop customer strategies and improve business performance
Make strategic and tactical recommendations based upon data analysis performed individually or by other areas of the business
Provide technical and analytical advice for setting up marketing tests, constructing models, and design of experiments
Experience in working with geographically remote team members

Skills Required:
5-7 years experience in database marketing role, preferably in financial services
5-7 years of direct, relevant experience in both a marketing technology and a business consulting role, preferably in financial services
5-7 years strategic business analysis; aptitude in displaying and communicating technical/analytical information to non-technical constituents
Knowledge and utilization of a database query language SQL is must.
Knowledge of SAS and UNICA software a Plus
Bachelors degree required; advanced degree strongly preferred
Ability to identify fresh approaches to marketing processes and technology and shows a willingness to question traditional assumptions
Proven ability to work cross-functionally within an organization to create support and buy-in across a wide range of stakeholders and accomplish objectives
Ability to work independently, with strong follow-through, a flexible approach and resilience to setbacks
Direct and proven experience in process reengineering
Unique customer focus. Strong record of achievement in applying a customer mindset to shape solutions and approaches
Pragmatic problem-solver, forward thinker with independence of thought..
