Hi,

 

Client is looking for Senior Java Developer – IL. This is a 13+ months contract position. The Hourly rate is DOE.

 

Position Description:      Analyzes, designs, develops, tests, and supports all aspects of several Spring-based JEE web applications.  Must be able to innovate and mentor other developers to rapidly build solutions.  Must be willing to assume different roles as a member of an agile development team.

 

Skills Required: 8+ years' experience analyzing, designing, developing, testing, and implementing services and applications using both SDLC and Agile practices.

Expert knowledge of Java, HTML, CSS, SQL, and the Spring Framework.

Expert understanding of Object Oriented Analysis and Design, Design Patterns, and SOA.

Real understanding (and ability to explain) Java 5 features, especially annotations and generics.

Significant Web development experience using Spring MVC, AJAX (Dojo), JavaScript, and JSON.

Web Service experience using CXF, JAX-WS, and JAX-B.

Significant development experience using TDD, JUnit, JMock.

Significant development experience using Eclipse-based IDEs and WebSphere Application Server.

Solid understanding of relational databases and DB2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Skills Experience with Teradata and/or Cognos

Experience with JMS.

Masters degree preferred
